How to Play

Get a DAILY 3 play slip from any Minnesota State Lottery retailer and follow the directions on the back. Just choose your numbers, your play type and your wager. Or simply ask the clerk for a DAILY 3 QUICK PICK and random numbers will be picked for you. 

You can wager as little as .50 cents per play. Odds of winning a cash prize vary from 1 in 10 to 1 in 1,000. Up to 14 draws can be purchased in advance. Remember, your cost increases for each draw you add.

Play Types

First Digit: Pick 1 number. To win, match the first number drawn.

Front Pair: Pick 2 numbers. To win, match the first 2 numbers drawn in exact order.

Back Pair: Pick 2 numbers. To win, match the last 2 numbers drawn in exact order.

Straight: Pick 3 numbers. To win, match all 3 numbers drawn in exact order.

3-Way Box: Pick 3 numbers, 2 that are the same. To win, match all 3 numbers drawn in any order.

6-Way Box: Pick 3 different numbers. To win, match all 3 numbers drawn in any order.
